Shutze Glockner
Full Name: Jurgen Glockner
Born: 10/07/10 - Nuremberg
Civilian occupation: PlumberJurgen was born on the 10th of july 1910 in the village Neunhofer just outside Nuremberg .
His mother died when he was young and his father turned to alcohol as a result. As the eldest child Jurgen was forced into looking after his 2 sisters whilst serving his apprenticeship in plumbing to bring in a small wage.
All the care he supplied did not stop his younger sister Gretchen from passing away from tuberculosis aged 3 in October 1926, undeterred he still continued to care for his remaining sister and father.
He became increasingly angry and frustrated with the hard life that
he was being forced to live, with the way his once proud country was
suffering due to reperations to the victors of the Great War and as a
result of the depression. He saw his way out after witnessing the might
and majesty of the yearly Nuremberg rally in 1938.
He promtply signed up for active service and after completing his training
saw service in the French campaign.
In 1941 he had the opportunity to join the Grossdeutschland division and departed for russia in 1942.
After his unit was practically wiped out in action, he was re-assigned to the reconnaisance battalion within GD to make up their losses.
