Interested in Grossdeutschland, the German Army of WWII and the conflict
on the Ostfront?
To join our unit, you must be over 18, be able to spare at least 5 or 6 weekends a year, have the means to get to our nationwide events, the money to fund your hobby, a reasonable level of fitness, a willingness to learn, get on well in a group environment and most importantly a genuine interest in the German Army of WWII.
In return you will receive membership to one of the largest and most well established German Army re-enactment units in the UK. You will also gain access to some of the UK's premier re-enactment events as well as group training weekends, private battles, magazine, film & TV work and the receive the groups bi-monthly 'Die Feuerwehr' newsletter.
We are always on the look out for new members to swell our ranks, so
if you fancy the portrayal of a Grossdeutschland Shützen on the
Eastern front during the early to mid war period, please get in touch

Before you fill in the form we do have an entrance policy, and there
are some things you need to be aware of.
- NO NAZIS. We are an unpolitical group and will not tolerate any
form of political extremism..
- You must be able to attend at least 5 events a year on our calendar.
We do public living history shows, public battles, and private battles.
This is a commitment hobby, attending shows simply means getting the
most out of your membership.
- It can be expensive. We have kit which we can lend out on a short
term basis, but really you have to think in terms of the basic kit
setting you back about £1000 and you having it together within
the first 12 months of joining. Everything
you will need is comphrehensively explained in our illustrated
new starters pack and you will be guided through the process by the
groups NCO's.
- Due to insurance issues and firearms hire its over 18s only.
